Golf Chat

Three old men on the golf course,
(Each had trouble hearing well)
Were playing a round on a breezy day,
When one blew over and fell.

“Windy, isn’t it?” said one of them,
While helping the other to rise.
“No, it’s Thursday,” said the second man.
And they walked off to exercise.

The third man had listened intently;
Now he chimed in, with good cheer;
As he followed the others, he called out,
“So am I. Let’s have a beer!”

Absentminded

Sometimes your mind is so full of thoughts
You forget where you put some things,
You get distracted and put it ” somewhere”
When you look for it, the place doesn’t ” ring”.

Yo search and search but to no avail,
You wonder where did it go,
Where did you put it, you stop to think
And still you can’t find it, that’s so,

Being absent minded is a human trait,
We are all just to busy you see,
Oh where , oh, where did I put it away,
You misplace it, and you hope temporarily,

Alive At Sixety-five

Over the hill but not yet old
I’m still spunky, so I am told
My life has been a bumpy ride
But, my inner-child smiles inside

As the winter of my life slowly nears
It’s time for me to switch some gears
But, while I’m waiting for that time
I’m kicking and alive at sixty-five
